The Hubble Space Telescope

There is a better choice.

The Hubble Space Telescope has taken spectacular images of the Orion Nebula. The resolution is enough to clearly separate the stars in the nebula, such as in the Trapezium, but not necessarily in the more crowded Kleinmann-Low (KL) Nebula. More importantly, the wavelengths to which Hubble is sensitive cannot readily escape the dust and gas within and surrounding KL.
